Blurry Sadie at the Big Family Press

Hi, I’m Sadie St. Hilaire – an artist and arts educator in London

“Sadie is deserving of walking in the sun.” – Sahra Hersi.

Sadie St. Hilaire (sometimes Sadsthil) is a London -based artist working across animation and film, they have worked with young people across London in creative workshops since 2011. Sadie is interested in creating inclusive, creative environments and has explored this through delivering workshops with Rabbits Road Press and ACAVA amongst others.

Sadie is currently Heritage Programme Assistant at the South London Gallery, where they are supporting the delivery of the Big Family Press and the SLG archive programme.

British Council Biennale Research Fellow 2020/2021

Sadie studied animation at the University of Westminster, was an art technician there, and at Thomas Tallis School.

You can usually find her at zine fair or drawing in libraries.
Sadie deeply believes in the power of dessert.
